The deal marks TravelPerk’s third acquisition of the pandemic, following the purchase of risk management startup Albatross in summer 2020 and US-based NexTravel in January this year. Per the press release, the acquisition was funded by Boston based investment manager The Baupost Group.

TravelPerk, a European startup that offers next-generation travel trip booking software, has bagged another rival by acquiring Click Travel. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed but Crunchbase reports that it marks TravelPerk’s third acquisition this year following a risk management startup Albatross in summer and US-based NexTravel in January. Both companies will continue to operate independently for now but a full integration is planned, per TravelPerk’s CEO Meir.
What is the TRC Website?
