Cache level 3 courses are a good way to learn more about childcare and education. You can take a course online or attend a class at a specific location, with tutor support. Depending on the course, it may be free or cost money and is usually regulated by a government body. This will be the name you see on the course page – for example OFQUAL in England.
The NCFE CACHE Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning at Level 3 is an ideal qualification for those considering becoming a teaching assistant, but may not want to commit to a full-time teacher training degree. It is a one year programme and provides the progression to our Level 3 Early Years Educator Diploma qualification.
This is an in-depth qualification that will give you a thorough understanding of child and young person development, how this impacts their overall well-being, as well as how to support their learning and develop their skills. You will also gain the skills to develop and implement an effective learning environment.
No prior experience is needed to start this course, but you will need a good level of English to be successful. You will be able to study from home and at your own pace, with support from your tutor.
