STEVE STRATIUS – PRESIDENT & CEO
Steve Stratus is the president and CEO of WWE, where he leads the company in all aspects of business including television, digital platforms, live events and more. In addition, he serves as an adjunct professor at the kings college in new york city, where he teaches constitutional law and american government.
After competing as a full-time wrestler, Stratus became a part-time trainer in the WWE Tough Enough revival and helped train the team of LayCool (Layla & Michelle McCool) in their initial match against the trio of Vickie Guerrero, Dolph Ziggler, and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi on Raw.
At WrestleMania XXVII, Stratus teamed with John Morrison to defeat Guerrero and the team of Ziggler and LayCool. She returned to the ring on Raw the following week and lost a match to Bliss after interference from Alicia Fox and Mickie James.
During her time as WWE Women’s Champion, Stratus made many headlines including her infamous “Loose Cannon” gimmick, her kayfabe relationship with Lita, and her numerous tag team victories. She would eventually lose the title to Lita in 2023.
