AA preferred dealers are dealers who have been through a rigorous review and selection process and are able to offer an extra level of customer service that the AA can back and trust. They have also been approved by the AA for the quality of the vehicles in their yards.

Research has shown that almost nine out of ten car buyers feel more reassured when purchasing a used vehicle from a dealer who has been independently checked by the AA. As a result the AA is looking to expand its dealer network and is currently inviting expressions of interest from dealers who would like to become an AA preferred dealer, with the opportunity to display AA branding on their signage and digital channels as well as promotion to more than 2.6 million AA members.

A key criteria for dealers joining the AA Preferred Dealer Network is that they must sell at least 80 per cent of their used vehicles through AA appraised workshops and odometer verified windows, as well as having a minimum six months MOT. In addition, they must be an AA approved garage and have completed a WOF inspection on all their vehicles.

The AAA Car Buying Service, provided by TrueCar, is available to eligible Card Members and provides upfront member price offers on in-stock dealer inventory at participating Certified Dealers. The upfront member price is an estimate of the lowest possible cost available to the Member based on the vehicle they select and may not reflect manufacturer incentives or dealer discounts. The final purchase price will be determined by the participating dealer and may differ from MSRP. AA preferred dealers
